Microsoft Bing needed a way to communicate customized account statistics to their advertisers. They also wanted to have a vehicle to provide tips and tricks to help advertisers optimize their accounts through periodic touch points.
Working together with Bing and their other partners, we envisioned a highly complex, responsive newsletter that was able to be customized for individual advertisers. The UX team devised a template that could easily be populated with data such as account stats (impressions, click-thru-rates, open rates, etc.) and various tiles containing account alerts, tips and tricks as well as educational articles. Using existing customer data, the email is “assembled” on-the-fly during launch.
The Bing Ads Dash newsletter provides insight and easy access into advertisers’ Bing accounts. The program has been successfully rolled out internationally and this concept has been extended into other Bing programs.
